Love a flatwhite stroll through my neighbourhood Islington

Moin*, I'm Mai-Linh––pronounced 'Mylin'.

Currently, I design digital products at tldraw–a very good whiteboard SDK. Before that, I worked across fashion, wine, and journalism.

I'm an ENTP (the debater)–open-minded and energetic by nature, and always up for a challenge. I'm fluent in German and English, with some Vietnamese. I value curiosity, progress, and innovation.

MORE ABOUT ME
Born in 'ze' German countryside (where people say 'moin'), I studied architecture and graduated with a Master’s degree in Leipzig. After working in multiple studios in Berlin, I moved to London, said TTFN to architecture, and reoriented in digital product design.

Architectural design is basically user experience design on a physical level: creating tangible and functional spaces for exceptional experiences. With a background in this human-centred discipline, I bring resourcefulness and a structural approach to my work. Driven by a passion for design and aesthetics, my goal is to create products that seamlessly blend coherence, technology and visual appeal––don't we often choose wine solely based on the label's appearance?

I have an affinity with minimalism and simplicity. In my free time––when I’m not faffing about with my cat, I like exploring London and travelling to new places.

*Moin means 'Hi', 'Hello', 'Good morning', 'Good evening' and everything in between, as long as it is used to greet people. It is primarly used in the northern parts of Germany––preferably mumbled and with a nonchalant raising of the index finger. ☻
